A man was issued a citation for disregarding a stop sign after crashing his bicycle into a moving vehicle on Monday afternoon.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of Garfield and San Antonio streets. A white Jeep Compass was driving north on Garfield when it collided with a bicycle traveling east on Garfield that had run through a stop sign. The cyclist sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.
The driver of the Jeep, who was uninjured, was not issued any citations in connection with the incident.
This is one of several incidents reported in San Angelo recently.
