Two men, brothers Miguel Daniel Blake, 31, of New Haven, and Dravere Christopher Blake, 34, of Meriden, were shot and killed outside the Muzeum Sports Bar and Grill on Campbell Avenue in West Haven early Saturday morning. The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m.

According to police, another victim with gunshot wounds was found at the scene but was conscious, alert, and responsive when officers arrived. No arrests have been made as of yet, while the investigation continues.

The family of the victims has started a GoFundMe effort to raise money for their funeral expenses and to bring their bodies back to Jamaica, where they grew up in their hearts. The narrative on the GoFundMe page describes the brothers as loving parents, family members, and friends who touched many lives.

**Background**

West Haven police are investigating the double fatal shooting, which is still under investigation. Detectives have a motive for the crime but have chosen not to release it publicly due to concerns of jeopardizing the case. The incident occurred just hours after another shooting in New Haven on Friday night, where a man fired gunshots into the air during a domestic incident.

The victims' family has expressed their desire to bring them back to Jamaica for burial, citing cultural and personal significance. The GoFundMe effort is led by the men's mother, Marie Blake, who describes her loss as "changing my life forever."
