LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - On June 19, London police executed an indictment warrant against Dorothy Lewis at her residence on Reams Lane, resulting in new trafficking charges related to the sale and possession of illegal substances. During the arrest, law enforcement officials discovered suspected methamphetamine along with other illicit drugs, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials indicative of drug sales activities, and a significant amount of cash.

Upon obtaining consent from Lewis to search her cell phone, officers uncovered additional evidence corroborating ongoing illegal drug activity. As a result, Lewis is now facing multiple charges including trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She has been transferred to the Laurel County Detention Center pending further legal proceedings.
