LEXINGTON, KY — Jonathan Parker, age 31, was arrested by the Lexington Police Department on June 22, 2026, following a series of violent incidents at the Gulf BP Gas Station located in the 400 block of Waller Avenue. The arrest came after two separate crimes occurred over an eight-day period.

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, around 7:00 am, Parker entered the gas station and displayed a firearm while demanding money from employees inside the store. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise before police could arrive on scene. No injuries were reported in this incident.

A second crime occurred early morning on June 19, 2026, when officers responded to reports of a burglary at the same location around 5:00 am. Upon arrival, investigators discovered that Parker had damaged the front window and attempted to break into the store before escaping from the scene. He was apprehended shortly after by law enforcement.

Parker faces multiple charges including Robbery in the First Degree for the June 11 incident, Wanton Endangerment in the First Degree related to endangering individuals during the robbery attempt, Criminal Mischief in the First Degree due to property damage on June 19, Burglary in the Third Degree (Attempted), and Fleeing or Evading Police in the Third Degree. He is currently being held at Fayette County Detention Center.
