A 37-year-old man from Toronto has been charged in connection with a drugs investigation in Greater Sudbury. Jonathan Hill was taken into custody on June 4, 2026, after police executed a search warrant at his residence.
According to the Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS), detectives found approximately 30 grams of cocaine and 22 grams of fentanyl during the search. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is $5,200. Hill has been charged with two counts of possession of a schedule I controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, as well as other related offences.
This is not Hill's first run-in with the law regarding drug trafficking. In October 2025, he was arrested and charged in relation to similar offences at the same residence. He was released on bail but has since been remanded into custody.
