A Nashville man was taken into custody by the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force over the weekend. Norris Davidson, whose vehicle is registered to him, was stopped on Saturday, June 27, on Interstate 65 northbound near the 2-mile marker in Simpson County, Ky.

According to officials, agents with multiple agencies conducted a probable cause search of Davidson's 2026 Dodge Charger and found suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, and multiple firearms. Davidson was already known to have an active warrant for his arrest in the United States District Court, Western District of Kentucky for firearms and drug trafficking.

Davidson was taken into custody on the basis of this federal arrest warrant, with further charges pending related to trafficking in a controlled substance firearm enhanced. The Simpson County Sheriff's Office assisted in Davidson's arrest.

The vehicle stop occurred at approximately 9:04 PM CDT on Saturday, June 27, and resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of illicit substances and firearms.
