A Massachusetts State Police trooper was killed in an off-duty motorcycle crash over the weekend. Trooper Jacob Mick, 31, of Northborough, died from injuries sustained in a collision with a passenger vehicle on Route 122 in Grafton.

According to the Worcester District Attorney's Office, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday when Mick was operating his motorcycle on Providence Road and collided with another vehicle. The other driver, whose name has not been released, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to UMass Lakeside Hospital.

Trooper Mick was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation into the crash is ongoing, led by the Grafton Police Department in conjunction with state police detectives assigned to the DA's office, as well as the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
