Jacksonville police reported multiple arrests and citations over the weekend as they responded to several incidents of disorderly conduct, battery, and other crimes.

According to reports, an 18-year-old woman was arrested on a battery charge after allegedly slapping another woman and pulling her hair. A 52-year-old man was also taken into custody for failing to appear in court on a retail theft charge. Additionally, three men were cited or arrested for disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public urination.

Police responded to several disturbances over the weekend, including reports of arguing individuals at North Church Street and Lavan Drive. In one incident, police were called to separate two people who had become confrontational with a door-to-door salesman.

There were also multiple accidents reported, including a pickup truck that went into a ditch due to distracted driving and another vehicle that sideswiped a parked car before hitting a light pole.

The incidents occurred over the weekend of June 28-29 in Jacksonville.
