A string of arrests was made in the local area on June 29, with multiple individuals being taken into custody for various offenses.
According to reports, Austin Ware (23/23) and Jainesha Zhalahsia Lewis (13/23) were both arrested for DUI/DWI charges. Both drivers had a blood alcohol content of .16 or higher, which is considered a first offense under local law.
In addition to the DUI arrests, several individuals were taken into custody for other offenses, including shoplifting and larceny. Detouri Devon (1/23) was charged with shoplifting, valued at $2,000 or less, while Danton Browder (2/23) was arrested for grand larceny.
