A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal car accident that occurred on Saturday night in Pueblo, Colorado. Joshua Wisthoff was taken into custody by the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) and is facing multiple charges related to the incident.

According to the PPD, officers responded to the scene at approximately 11 p.m. on the 4000 block of Wills Boulevard after a crash was reported. One person was found dead at the scene, and an abandoned vehicle was discovered nearby. The initial investigation suggests that a motorcyclist was struck by the vehicle while riding north along the side of Wills Boulevard.

Wisthoff has been accused of Vehicular Homicide, Failure to Remain on Scene Resulting in Death, Failure to Notify Police, Careless Driving, Driving Under the Influence, Illegal Consumption, and No Insurance. This incident marks the 11th deadly crash in Pueblo this year.

The police department worked quickly to identify Wisthoff as a suspect after finding his abandoned vehicle near the scene of the crash. He was brought into custody shortly after officers arrived at the scene.
