On June 22, the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Yellowbush Road in Racine, resulting in felony drug charges for two individuals and an arrest on an outstanding warrant. According to Sheriff Scott Fitch, detectives and deputies carried out this operation as part of an ongoing investigation into multiple suspects involved in drug trafficking.
During the raid, law enforcement encountered several people inside the residence, including Ashley Graham from Racine, Jason Hauck from Bidwell, Heather Ohlinger from Racine, Ryan Ohlinger from Letart, West Virginia, Jonathan Young from New Haven, West Virginia, Michael Flowers from Hartford, West Virginia, Cheryl Graham from Racine, and a juvenile child. Authorities discovered suspected fentanyl in quantities exceeding Ohio’s bulk amount threshold both within the residence and on individuals present at the scene.
Ashley Graham was arrested for possession of drugs (second-degree felony) under Ohio Revised Code 2925.11 and trafficking in drugs (second-degree felony) under Ohio Revised Code 2925.03. Jason Hauck faced similar charges. Jonathan Young, however, had an outstanding warrant issued through the Meigs County Common Pleas Court.
Due to the presence of a juvenile child during the raid, Meigs County Children Services was contacted and responded to ensure the safety and well-being of the minor involved. The remaining individuals at the scene were released pending further investigation.
Sheriff Fitch thanked detectives, deputies, and Meigs County Children Services for their assistance in this operation. He emphasized that "this location has been an ongoing problem for the Village of Racine" and expressed optimism about preventing these individuals from continuing to traffic drugs within the community.
The case remains under active investigation with additional charges pending review by a grand jury at the Meigs County Prosecutor’s Office.
