Green Bay, WI – On June 19, Elijah White, a 20-year-old man from Green Bay, pleaded no contest to felony murder as a party to the crime and conspiracy to commit armed robbery in connection with the fatal shooting of Brandon Ramirez. This conviction marks the second guilty plea among five suspects charged in this case.

Ramirez was shot during an alleged drug-deal-turned-robbery on August 7, 2024, at Berner Street in Green Bay. He died two days later from a gunshot wound to his head after being admitted to a hospital following the incident. Prosecutors have maintained that Ramirez's death resulted from a planned robbery gone wrong.

In addition to felony murder and conspiracy charges, White also pleaded guilty to resisting an officer, which is classified as a misdemeanor offense. The original charge of first-degree intentional homicide was reduced through plea negotiations with prosecutors.

The remaining suspects include Dion Richardson Jr., Nigel White, Darian Pinchart, and Rosemary Williams—all residents of Green Bay or nearby Kewaunee—each facing varying degrees of charges ranging from felony murder to resisting law enforcement. Pinchart has already been sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by ten years on extended supervision after pleading no contest earlier this year.

Investigative reports reveal conflicting accounts provided by the suspects regarding their involvement and actions during the shooting incident. Snapchat communications between White and Richardson prior to and on the day of the shooting suggest discussions about finding someone to rob, as well as references to a gun.

Sentencing for Elijah White is scheduled for August 18, while other proceedings continue with Nigel White set to stand trial beginning August 5 and Richardson due in court July 20.
