STOCKTON, Calif. — A 25-year-old man was fatally shot in Stockton on Sunday evening, bringing this year’s homicide count to 13 incidents as of June 22nd.
According to local authorities, police received a call around 5:00 p.m. reporting that someone had been shot at the intersection of Kelley Drive and another street within the 9500 block area. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately transported him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Stockton Police Department has not released any information regarding potential motives or suspect descriptions as no leads have been identified yet in connection with this incident.
