Rochester, NY - Three individuals have been taken into custody by police after a high-speed chase across Monroe County on Monday evening. The incident began when an officer spotted the stolen vehicle on Lyell Avenue at around 10:50pm. Despite attempts to initiate a traffic stop, the suspects led authorities on a pursuit that spanned multiple jurisdictions.
According to reports, the vehicle had been stolen in a gunpoint robbery earlier in the day on Selye Terrace. The chase eventually ended near Spencerport High School, where the suspects abandoned their car and were apprehended by police. A firearm was recovered during the arrests.
