Del Rio, TX - Three women have been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the stabbing death of a 32-year-old woman on Thursday afternoon. According to police, the incident occurred near the Val Verde Regional Medical Center.
The victim was taken to San Antonio for emergency treatment but later died around 9 p.m. The three suspects, identified as Kitty Mia Diaz (21), Amaya Cookie Diaz (19), and Kyandra Renee Faz (21), were arrested after surveillance video, other evidence, and witness statements led police to their involvement.
The trio was taken into custody at the GEO Correctional Facility and is currently facing murder charges. Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed as more information becomes available.
