A triple homicide shook the city of Jackson, Mississippi on Saturday, June 27, when two women and a toddler were found fatally shot inside a home. The victims have been identified as Keyana Weathersby, 25; Camari Givens, 2; and Erica Weathersby, 30.

According to police, officers received a call around 10 p.m. on June 27 reporting an aggravated assault at the residence in the 300 block of Queen Alexandria Lane. Upon arrival, they found three victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. All were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jackson Police Department is investigating and has identified a suspect who is considered armed and dangerous. A red Mitsubishi Mirage with license plate HSI-205 was involved in the incident and later located unoccupied at Manhattan Park in North Jackson.

This triple homicide marks the deadliest crime in Jackson this year, with 41 homicides reported so far in 2026. The city's mayor, John Horhn, released a statement expressing his condolences to the families affected and announcing plans to deploy additional resources to address gun-related violence in the community.
