The booking record lists charges of attempted murder under South Carolina Code Section 16-3-29; possession of a weapon during a violent crime under Section 16-23-490; and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle under Section 16-23-440(B).

Local reports published that day by WSNW and WYFF, citing the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, said authorities had sought Jones in connection with a shooting in the Utica Mill Hill area of Oconee County.
