Criminal Trespass reported near Campus

Eastern Illinois University Police Department reported a criminal trespass event near Campus on 2026-10-25 00:00:00+00:00.

On 10/26/2026 at approximately 9:10 a.m., UPD received a report of a possible criminal trespass to an office located within the Lantz Complex. Employees reported that sometime between 2:00 p.m. on 10/25/2026 and the time the incident was discovered, unknown person(s) entered the office and caused a disturbance, leaving the area in disarray. It was determined that nothing had been taken and no damage was observed. A report has been completed to document the incident, and the matter remains under investigation.
