Highland County Sheriff's Office reported a hillsboro-area man arrested on domestic violence charge event near On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a Highland County Sheriff's Office deputy was dispatched to a business in Liberty Township... on 2026-10-21 00:00:00+00:00.

<p class="MsoNormal">On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a Highland County Sheriff's Office deputy was dispatched to a business in Liberty Township following a report of an assault that had occurred earlier at a residence on State Route 73.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Following an initial investigation, the deputy responded to the residence, assisted by an officer from the Hillsboro Police Department. Fernando Trevino Jr., 48, was located inside the residence, concealed behind a curtain in a stairwell, and was taken into custody.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Trevino was transported to the Highland County Justice Center, where he was charged with domestic violence. <o:p></o:p></p><p>
