Montoya 10-50 Pd reported near 180 th St

Plymouth County Sheriff's Office reported a montoya 10-50 pd event near 180 th St on 2026-10-27 09:21:13+00:00.

On October 26, 2026, at approximately 12:32 PM, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 12 near 180 th St. Upon arrival, a 2002 Ford Taurus was found in the west ditch, south of 180 th St with front right-side damage and left side rear damage. After an investigation, it was determined that Perceaz Presnell Montoya, age 21, of Akron, Iowa, had been driving the Taurus southbound on Highway 12. Presnell Montoya attempted to make a right hand turn onto 180 th Street but missed the intersection. The Taurus then entered the ditch and collided with the embankment . No injuries were reported. The Taurus sustained approximately $3,500 in damages. The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office responded along with the Akron Fire Department and Akron Ambulance Service.
